Hand Held Clinch Units

This strong simple hand held BTM Tog-L-Loc® gun has been specifically designed for wall panel production and is an economical approach to steel wall panel fabrication.  Other units have been designed for truss production.

BTM Tog-L-Loc® Clinch System

The complete system consists of the following;

Pressure booster, converting shop air to hydraulic forces.
Hose assembly.
Hand unit, and two sets of tooling.

Clinch Process

BTM's Tog-L-Loc® clinch process

The stripper clamps the metals to the die as the punch advances.   The punch draws the metals into the die and squeezes them against the anvil.   The metal flows outward and the die blades move away, allowing the diameter of the lock to expand.
